Meconerv PFS Injection is a ready-to-use prefilled syringe formulation of Methylcobalamin, the active form of Vitamin B12. It is formulated to support nerve regeneration, improve neurological function, and correct Vitamin B12 deficiency. The injection promotes myelin sheath repair, supports healthy red blood cell production, and provides convenient, accurate dosing for patients requiring parenteral Vitamin B12 therapy.

Meconerv PFS Injection is indicated for the treatment of peripheral neuropathies and megaloblastic anaemia caused by Vitamin B12 deficiency.

Mecobalamin (Methylcobalamin) is the biologically active coenzyme form of Vitamin B12 and serves as a cofactor for methionine synthase, an enzyme involved in the conversion of homocysteine to methionine. This reaction is essential for transmethylation processes, DNA synthesis, nucleic acid formation, and protein synthesis. Methylcobalamin promotes normal cell growth, supports red blood cell maturation, and plays a critical role in the maintenance and regeneration of the myelin sheath. Its neurotrophic properties promote nerve cell growth, improve nerve conduction, and support recovery in peripheral neuropathies associated with Vitamin B12 deficiency.

The recommended dose is Mecobalamin 1500 mcg daily, administered intramuscularly or intravenously, or as directed by the physician.

Meconerv PFS Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Vitamin B12 (Mecobalamin), cobalt, or any component of the formulation.
