Each gel contains Potassium Nitrate BP 5.0% w/w and Sodium Monofluorophosphate USP 0.625% w/w in a flavoured gel base.

Potassium Nitrate acts by desensitizing the nerve endings within exposed dentinal tubules, thereby reducing painful responses to thermal, tactile, osmotic, or chemical stimuli. Adults and children aged 12 years and older should brush their teeth thoroughly with Nitragel Gel for at least one minute, preferably after each meal or at least twice daily (morning and evening), or as directed by a dentist or physician.
