Composition
Each soflet contains Zinc Sulphate 61.8 mg, Vitamin B3 (Niacin) 100 mg, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) 3 mg, Vitamin B12 15 mcg, Folic Acid 1 mg, Chromium Picolinate 250 mcg, Selenium 100 mcg, Inositol 100 mg, and Lycopene 3 mg.
Features / Experimentation
Z&B Soflets are a comprehensive nutritional supplement formulated with essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and trace elements to support immune function, energy metabolism, and overall well-being. The combination of Zinc, B-complex vitamins, Chromium Picolinate, Selenium, Inositol, and Lycopene helps strengthen the body's natural defence mechanisms, supports glucose metabolism, promotes healthy red blood cell formation, and protects cells from oxidative stress.
Indications
Z&B Soflets are indicated for nutritional supplementation to support general immunity and maintain optimal vitamin and mineral levels in adults.
Pharmacodynamics
Z&B Soflets provide a synergistic combination of essential micronutrients that support immune health, cellular metabolism, and antioxidant defence. Zinc is required for the catalytic activity of numerous enzymes and plays a vital role in immune function, wound healing, protein synthesis, DNA synthesis, and cell division. Vitamin B3 (Niacin) helps regulate lipid metabolism by reducing triglyceride synthesis and apolipoprotein B-containing lipoproteins in the liver. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) functions as a coenzyme in amino acid and glycogen metabolism and is essential for the synthesis of nucleic acids, haemoglobin, sphingomyelin, and neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). Vitamin B12 serves as a cofactor for enzymes involved in DNA synthesis, purine and pyrimidine formation, and haemoglobin production. Folic Acid is converted into active tetrahydrofolate derivatives, which are essential for erythropoiesis, nucleic acid synthesis, and amino acid metabolism. Chromium Picolinate supports glucose, insulin, and lipid metabolism by enhancing insulin signalling pathways. Selenium contributes to the formation of antioxidant selenoproteins that protect cells from oxidative damage caused by reactive oxygen species. Inositol acts as a messenger in insulin signalling pathways, promoting glucose uptake by tissues. Lycopene, a potent natural antioxidant, helps neutralise free radicals and protects cells from oxidative stress. Together, these nutrients support immune function, metabolic health, and overall nutritional well-being.
Dosage and administration
The recommended dose is one soflet once daily, or as directed by the physician.
Contraindications
Z&B Soflets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or any component of the formulation.
