Each capsule contains Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4 mg and Dutasteride 0.5 mg.

Uronex D Capsules combine two complementary agents that target both the dynamic and static components of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin Hydrochloride is a selective alpha-1A adrenergic receptor antagonist that primarily acts on receptors located in the prostate, bladder neck, and prostatic urethra. By relaxing smooth muscle in these tissues, it improves urinary flow and relieves lower urinary tract symptoms associated with BPH. Dutasteride is a competitive and specific inhibitor of both Type I and Type II 5-alpha-reductase isoenzymes. It inhibits the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), resulting in reduced prostate volume, improvement in urinary symptoms, and a reduced risk of progression of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

The recommended dose is one capsule once daily, taken approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day, or as directed by the physician. Swallow the capsule whole without crushing, chewing, or opening it.

Uronex D Capsules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tamsulosin, Dutasteride, or any component of the formulation. Dutasteride is contraindicated for use in women and children.
