Each tablet contains Piracetam 800 mg + Citicoline Sodium 500 mg.

It helps restore neuronal function, improve memory and cognitive performance, and aids in neurological rehabilitation after acute stroke.

Neurocetam Plus Tablets are indicated for the treatment of acute stroke. The combination therapy supports neurological recovery by improving neuronal function, protecting brain cells from further damage, and promoting cognitive rehabilitation.

Piracetam exerts its action by binding to the polar heads of phospholipids in neuronal cell membranes, restoring membrane fluidity and stability through the formation of mobile drug-phospholipid complexes. This helps maintain the structural integrity of membrane proteins, enhances neuronal communication, and supports cognitive function. Citicoline Sodium promotes the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, an essential component of neuronal cell membranes, by facilitating the conversion of 1,2-diacylglycerol into phosphatidylcholine. It also stimulates the synthesis of S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), contributing to membrane stabilization while reducing arachidonic acid levels, thereby supporting neuronal repair and recovery after cerebral injury.

The recommended dosage is one tablet three times daily, or as directed by the physician.

Neurocetam Plus Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Piracetam, Citicoline Sodium, or any component of the formulation. It should also not be administered to patients with end-stage renal disease, cerebral hemorrhage, or Huntington's chorea.
