Neurovin Tablets contain Vinpocetine, a cerebral vasodilator and neuroprotective agent that enhances cerebral blood flow, improves oxygen and glucose utilization in the brain, and supports cognitive function. It helps protect neurons from ischemic damage and excitotoxicity while improving cerebral circulation. Neurovin is beneficial in managing neurological symptoms associated with impaired cerebral blood flow and supports memory, concentration, and overall cognitive performance.

Neurovin Tablets are indicated for the treatment of psychic and neurological symptoms associated with cerebral circulatory disturbances of various origins, including impaired memory, reduced cognitive function, and locomotor disorders.

Vinpocetine exerts its therapeutic action by blocking calcium channels and voltage-gated sodium channels, thereby protecting neurons from excitotoxic injury caused by excessive excitatory amino acids. It also inhibits cyclic GMP phosphodiesterase, resulting in increased cyclic GMP levels within vascular smooth muscle. This leads to relaxation of cerebral blood vessels, reduced cerebrovascular resistance, and enhanced cerebral blood flow without significantly affecting systemic circulation. The recommended dosage is one tablet three times daily, or as directed by the physician.

Neurovin Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Vinpocetine, vinca alkaloids such as vinblastine or vincristine, or any component of the formulation.
