Alcaft Eye Drops contain Alcaftadine 0.25%, a topical ophthalmic antihistamine that provides once-daily relief from ocular itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis. It helps prevent histamine-mediated allergic responses, reduces ocular discomfort, and offers long-lasting symptomatic relief with convenient once-daily dosing.

Alcaft Eye Drops are indicated for the prevention of itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis in patients 10 to 60 years of age.

Alcaftadine is a selective H1 histamine receptor antagonist with mast cell stabilizing properties. It inhibits the binding of histamine to H1 receptors and suppresses the release of histamine from mast cells, thereby reducing the allergic response. In addition, Alcaftadine has been shown to decrease chemotaxis and inhibit eosinophil activation, helping to minimize ocular inflammation and relieve itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis.

Instill one drop into each affected eye once daily, or as directed by the physician.

Alcaft Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Alcaftadine or any component of the formulation.
