Divon 50 Tablets contain Diclofenac Sodium, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties. The enteric-coated formulation helps reduce gastric irritation by delaying drug release until it reaches the intestine. Divon 50 is effective in relieving pain, inflammation, and stiffness associated with various musculoskeletal and inflammatory disorders, making it suitable for the management of acute and chronic painful conditions.

Divon 50 Tablets are indicated for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gout, post-operative pain, pain following dental surgery, and other inflammatory and painful conditions.

Diclofenac Sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes COX-1 and COX-2, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation, pain, and fever. Suppression of prostaglandin production results in decreased inflammatory responses, relief of pain, and reduction of fever while improving joint mobility in inflammatory disorders.

The recommended dosage is one tablet two to three times daily, or as directed by the treating physician.

Divon 50 Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any component of the formulation and in patients who have experienced asthma, urticaria, or other allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs. It is also contraindicated for the treatment of perioperative pain associated with coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, in patients with moderate to severe renal insufficiency during the perioperative period who are at risk of volume depletion, and during the third trimester of pregnancy.
