Betagel is a potent topical corticosteroid formulation containing Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.05% for the management of inflammatory and pruritic skin disorders. It effectively reduces redness, swelling, itching, and irritation associated with corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. The gel formulation is non-greasy, spreads easily, and is particularly suitable for application to hairy areas and regions requiring quick absorption.

Betagel is indicated for the treatment of psoriasis, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, and senile pruritus. It helps relieve inflammation, erythema, itching, and discomfort associated with these corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions.

Betamethasone Dipropionate is a potent topical corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. It suppresses the formation, release, and activity of inflammatory mediators and immune cells responsible for redness, swelling, and itching. By inhibiting the inflammatory cascade and reducing cytokine production, Betamethasone helps alleviate the symptoms of inflammatory skin disorders while reducing tissue edema and erythema.

Apply a thin film of Betagel to the affected skin once or twice daily, or as directed by the physician. Do not exceed 50 g per week. Avoid application to the face, groin, or axillae, or to areas with existing skin atrophy unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional.

Betagel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Betamethasone Dipropionate or any other component of the formulation.
