Erox Capsules are available in strengths containing Amoxicillin 250 mg and Amoxicillin 500 mg.

Erox Capsules contain Amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum aminopenicillin antibiotic with bactericidal activity against a wide range of susceptible Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The formulation is effective in the treatment of respiratory tract, urinary tract, ENT, genito-urinary, and soft tissue infections. Amoxicillin is well absorbed after oral administration and is widely used as a first-line antibacterial therapy for common community-acquired infections.

Erox Capsules are indicated for the treatment of urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, genito-urinary infections, ear, nose and throat (ENT) infections, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible bacterial organisms.

Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic penicillin that exerts its bactericidal action against susceptible bacteria during the active stage of multiplication. It acts by inhibiting bacterial cell wall biosynthesis, resulting in disruption of cell wall integrity and eventual bacterial cell death. Its broad-spectrum antibacterial activity makes it effective against a variety of clinically significant pathogens.

Erox Capsules should be administered every 12 hours or as directed by the physician. The dosage and duration of therapy should be determined according to the severity of infection, patient condition, and clinical response.

Erox Capsules are contraindicated in patients who have experienced serious hypersensitivity reactions to Amoxicillin, penicillins, cephalosporins, or any other β-lactam antibacterial agents. Administration should be avoided in patients with a known history of severe allergic reactions associated with these medications.
