Fintrix Tablets contain Terbinafine Hydrochloride 250 mg or 500 mg.

Fintrix Tablets contain Terbinafine, an allylamine antifungal with potent fungicidal activity against dermatophytes. It inhibits fungal ergosterol synthesis, leading to fungal cell death and effective treatment of fungal infections involving the skin, hair, and nails. The oral formulation provides targeted systemic therapy for onychomycosis and other dermatophyte infections.

Fintrix Tablets are indicated for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin, hair, and nails, including onychomycosis of the fingernails and toenails.

Terbinafine is an allylamine antifungal that inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane, by inhibiting the enzyme squalene epoxidase. This results in intracellular accumulation of squalene, increased membrane permeability, and ultimately fungal cell death.

For fingernail onychomycosis, the recommended dose is 250 mg once daily for 6 weeks. For toenail onychomycosis, the recommended dose is 250 mg once daily for 12 weeks, or as directed by the physician.

Fintrix Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Terbinafine or any component of the formulation.
