Each lotion contains Halobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/v.

Haloderm Lotion is a super-high potency topical corticosteroid formulated with Halobetasol Propionate 0.05% for the management of inflammatory skin disorders. It provides rapid relief from inflammation, redness, itching, and scaling associated with plaque psoriasis. The lotion formulation spreads easily over large or hair-bearing areas, allowing convenient application and effective delivery of the active ingredient.

Haloderm Lotion is indicated for the topical treatment of plaque psoriasis in adults. It helps reduce inflammation, pruritus, erythema, and scaling associated with corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses.

Halobetasol Propionate is a highly potent topical corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties. It induces the production of lipocortins, which inhibit phospholipase A₂, thereby preventing the release of arachidonic acid from cell membrane phospholipids. This reduces the synthesis of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes, resulting in decreased inflammation, erythema, edema, and itching associated with plaque psoriasis.

Apply a thin layer of Haloderm Lotion to the affected skin twice daily and rub in gently. Treatment should not exceed two weeks, or as directed by the physician.

Haloderm Lotion is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Halobetasol Propionate or any other component of the formulation.
