Composition
Each gel contains Kojic Acid Dipalmitate 2%, Arbutin 1.5%, Mulberry Extract 1%, and Vitamin E Acetate 1%.
Features / Experimentation
Kojivit Gel is a skin-brightening and depigmenting formulation designed to reduce melasma, peri-orbital melanosis, and hyperpigmentation. Its unique combination of Kojic Acid Dipalmitate, Arbutin, Mulberry Extract, and Vitamin E Acetate helps inhibit excess melanin production, improve uneven skin tone, reduce dark spots, and provide antioxidant protection. The gel also nourishes and hydrates the skin, promoting a smoother, brighter, and healthier complexion with regular use.
Indications
Kojivit Gel is indicated for the treatment of melasma, peri-orbital melanosis (dark circles), and hyperpigmentation. It helps reduce discoloration, improve skin tone, and manage pigmentation disorders associated with excess melanin production.
Pharmacodynamics
Kojic Acid Dipalmitate is a stable derivative of kojic acid that acts as a depigmenting agent by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase, the key enzyme involved in melanin synthesis, thereby reducing hyperpigmentation and promoting a more even complexion. Arbutin further suppresses melanin production through tyrosinase inhibition, helping lighten age spots, melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Mulberry Extract possesses antioxidant and skin-conditioning properties that help protect the skin from oxidative stress, support skin rejuvenation, improve skin tone, and reduce the appearance of blemishes. Vitamin E Acetate acts as a potent antioxidant, protecting skin cells from free radical damage while supporting skin repair, hydration, and overall skin health.
Dosage and administration
Apply a thin layer of Kojivit Gel once daily to the affected area, or as directed by the physician.
Contraindications
Kojivit Gel is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Kojic Acid Dipalmitate, Arbutin, Mulberry Extract, Vitamin E Acetate, or any other component of the formulation.
