Each tablet contains Amisulpride 50 mg / 100 mg / 200 mg.

Maxpride Tablets contain Amisulpride, an atypical antipsychotic with selective affinity for dopamine D2 and D3 receptors. It is effective in managing both positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia while maintaining minimal affinity for other dopamine receptor subtypes. This selective action contributes to improved symptom control and better overall patient outcomes.

Maxpride Tablets are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, including patients presenting with acute psychotic episodes as well as those with predominant negative symptoms.

Amisulpride selectively binds with high affinity to human dopaminergic D2 and D3 receptor subtypes while exhibiting negligible affinity for D1, D4, and D5 receptors. This selective pharmacological profile provides effective control of both positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia.

For acute psychotic episodes, the recommended oral dose ranges from 400 mg to 800 mg daily, which may be increased up to 1200 mg/day if clinically required. For patients with predominant negative symptoms, the recommended dose ranges from 50 mg to 300 mg daily. Doses up to 300 mg may be administered once daily, while higher doses should be given in two divided doses or as directed by the physician.

Maxpride Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Amisulpride, prolactin-dependent tumors, pheochromocytoma, and in patients receiving concomitant treatment with levodopa.
