Each gram of gel contains Clindamycin Phosphate 1% w/w and Adapalene 0.1% w/w.

Nilac-A Gel is a combination anti-acne formulation containing Clindamycin Phosphate and Adapalene for the effective management of acne vulgaris. Clindamycin helps control acne-causing bacteria, while Adapalene normalizes skin cell turnover, reduces inflammation, and prevents the formation of new comedones. The dual-action formulation helps reduce inflammatory lesions, unclog pores, minimize acne recurrence, and improve overall skin appearance.

Nilac-A Gel is indicated for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris. It is effective in reducing inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne lesions, including papules, pustules, blackheads, and whiteheads.

Clindamycin Phosphate is a lincosamide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, thereby suppressing the growth of Cutibacterium acnes (formerly Propionibacterium acnes) and reducing inflammation associated with acne. Adapalene is a third-generation topical retinoid that modulates cellular differentiation, keratinization, and inflammatory processes. It normalizes follicular epithelial cell turnover, prevents microcomedone formation, and exhibits anti-inflammatory activity, resulting in improved acne control.

Apply a thin layer of Nilac-A Gel to the affected area twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

Nilac-A Gel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Clindamycin Phosphate, Adapalene, or any other component of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis.
