Each gram of Aquagel contains Octinoxate USP 7.5% w/w, Avobenzone USP 2% w/w, Oxybenzone USP 3% w/w, Octocrylene USP 3% w/w, and Zinc Oxide IP 2% w/w.

Photoban-30 Aquagel is a broad-spectrum sunscreen formulated with a combination of organic and mineral UV filters that provide protection against both UVA and UVB radiation. The lightweight aquagel formulation helps prevent sun-induced skin damage, minimizes tanning and pigmentation, and supports the management of melasma, freckles, age spots, and post-procedure skin. Regular use helps reduce the recurrence of dark spots caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet (UV) radiation while maintaining healthy skin.

Photoban-30 Aquagel is indicated to help manage and prevent freckles, hyperpigmentation, age spots, melasma, and post-procedure pigmentation. It also helps reduce the recurrence of pigmentation caused by exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

Photoban-30 Aquagel provides broad-spectrum photoprotection through a combination of chemical and physical UV filters. Octinoxate primarily absorbs UVB radiation, helping prevent sunburn and protecting skin cells from ultraviolet-induced DNA damage by reducing p53 protein expression following UV exposure. Avobenzone offers effective UVA protection, while Oxybenzone provides additional UVA and UVB coverage. Octocrylene enhances UVB protection and improves the photostability of Avobenzone. Zinc Oxide acts as a physical sunscreen by reflecting and scattering both UVA and UVB rays. Together, these ingredients help protect the skin from photoaging, oxidative stress, pigmentation, and UV-induced cellular damage.

Apply Photoban-30 Aquagel twice daily, or as directed by the physician. Reapply after excessive sweating, swimming, or prolonged sun exposure for continued protection.

Photoban-30 Aquagel is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Avobenzone or any other component of the formulation. It should also be avoided in individuals with a history of severe allergic reactions to sunscreen products or in patients with certain skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, asthma, or other related disorders unless advised by a healthcare professional.
