Each gram of Aquagel contains Octinoxate 25% w/w, Avobenzone 15% w/w, Oxybenzone 10% w/w, and Tioveil AQ-G 1%.

Photoban-50 Aquagel provides comprehensive photoprotection through a combination of organic UV filters. Octinoxate predominantly absorbs UVB radiation, protecting the skin from sunburn and reducing ultraviolet-induced cellular damage. It also helps minimize DNA damage by reducing p53 protein expression following UV exposure, thereby increasing the skin's tolerance to ultraviolet rays. Avobenzone provides effective UVA protection, helping prevent photoaging and deeper skin damage, while Oxybenzone absorbs both UVA and UVB radiation for enhanced broad-spectrum protection. Apply Photoban-50 Aquagel twice daily, or as directed by the physician. Reapply after swimming, excessive sweating, or prolonged sun exposure for continuous protection.

Photoban-50 Aquagel is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Avobenzone or any other component of the formulation. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of allergic reactions to sunscreen products or in individuals with asthma, eczema, psoriasis, or similar skin disorders, unless advised by a healthcare professional.
