Each capsule contains Amoxicillin 250 mg and Dicloxacillin 250 mg.

Pulmoclox Capsules combine Amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum aminopenicillin, with Dicloxacillin, a penicillinase-resistant penicillin, to provide effective bactericidal activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including β-lactamase-producing organisms. This combination is particularly useful for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, and other bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Pulmoclox Capsules are indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), otitis media, dental abscesses, septicaemia, skin and soft tissue infections, and other bacterial infections caused by β-lactamase-producing susceptible microorganisms.

Pulmoclox is a combination of two β-lactam antibiotics, Amoxicillin and Dicloxacillin, which exert bactericidal activity by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis. Amoxicillin provides broad-spectrum activity against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, while Dicloxacillin is resistant to penicillinase degradation and is particularly effective against penicillinase-producing Gram-positive organisms. Together, the combination offers enhanced antibacterial coverage and improved clinical efficacy.

The dosage depends on the type, severity, and site of infection. The usual recommended dosage is one capsule three times daily or as directed by the treating physician.

Pulmoclox Capsules are contraindicated in patients with a known history of hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to penicillins, β-lactam antibiotics, or any component of the formulation.
