Each dispersible tablet contains Amoxycillin 125 mg. Each 5 ml of reconstituted dry syrup contains Amoxycillin 125 mg.

Amoxycillin is a penicillin-class antibacterial agent with bactericidal activity against susceptible bacteria during their active multiplication phase. It inhibits bacterial cell wall biosynthesis by blocking peptidoglycan synthesis, resulting in weakening of the bacterial cell wall, cell lysis, and ultimately bacterial death.

The usual recommended dosage of Amoxycillin is 20–90 mg/kg/day administered in divided doses, depending on the severity and type of infection, or as directed by the treating physician.

Pulmoxyl DT & Dry Syrup are contraindicated in patients with a history of serious hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis or Stevens-Johnson syndrome, to Amoxycillin, penicillins, cephalosporins, or any other β-lactam antibiotics.
