Ritecef OF Tablets are indicated for the treatment of typhoid fever and urinary tract infections (UTIs) in adult patients caused by susceptible bacterial pathogens.

Cefixime is a semi-synthetic, oral third-generation cephalosporin that exerts bactericidal activity by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Ofloxacin is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for DNA replication, transcription, repair, and bacterial cell division.
