Each capsule contains Tacrolimus 0.5 mg, Tacrolimus 1 mg, or Tacrolimus 2 mg.

Seegraf Capsules contain Tacrolimus, a calcineurin inhibitor immunosuppressant used to prevent organ transplant rejection in kidney and liver transplant recipients. It suppresses T-lymphocyte activation, thereby reducing immune-mediated graft rejection and improving graft survival. Seegraf is also indicated in the management of Lupus Nephritis under specialist supervision. Consistent dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring are essential to achieve optimal immunosuppressive efficacy while minimizing toxicity.

Seegraf Capsules are indicated for the prophylaxis of transplant rejection in adult kidney and liver allograft recipients. They are also indicated for the treatment of Lupus Nephritis.

Tacrolimus is a calcineurin inhibitor that exerts potent immunosuppressive effects by inhibiting T-lymphocyte activation. It binds to the intracellular immunophilin FKBP-12 (FK506-binding protein-12) to form a complex that inhibits the phosphatase activity of calcineurin. This inhibition suppresses the transcription of cytokines, particularly interleukin-2 (IL-2), thereby preventing T-cell activation and proliferation. The resulting immunosuppressive effect helps reduce the risk of organ rejection following transplantation.

The dosage of Seegraf Capsules should be individualized according to the patient's clinical condition and therapeutic drug monitoring. Liver and Heart Transplant Patients: Administer the initial dose no sooner than 6 hours after transplantation. Kidney Transplant Patients: The initial dose may be administered within 24 hours after transplantation, but should be delayed until renal function has recovered. Administer Seegraf Capsules consistently with or without food. Avoid grapefruit juice during treatment, or use as directed by the transplant specialist.

Seegraf Capsules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tacrolimus or any component of the formulation.
