Each tablet contains Favipiravir 200 mg / 400 mg / 800 mg.

Actavir Tablets contain Favipiravir, a broad-spectrum antiviral agent that selectively inhibits viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, thereby preventing viral replication. It is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 in adults under restricted emergency use, helping reduce viral multiplication during the early stages of infection.

Actavir Tablets are indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 in adult patients under restricted emergency use.

Favipiravir selectively inhibits RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), an essential enzyme required for viral RNA replication. By inhibiting viral RNA synthesis, Favipiravir suppresses viral replication and limits the progression of infection.

The recommended dosage for adults is: Day 1: 1800 mg orally twice daily. Day 2 onwards: 800 mg orally twice daily. Treatment duration is up to a maximum of 14 days, or as directed by the physician.

Actavir Tablets are contraindicated in: Women who are pregnant or suspected to be pregnant Lactating women Patients with severe renal impairment Patients with severe hepatic impairment Patients with known hypersensitivity to Favipiravir or any component of the formulation.
