Pediatric antihistaminic syrup formulation providing effective relief from allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. Helps control sneezing, rhinorrhea, itching, and other allergy-related symptoms with selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonism.

Indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria.

Cetirizine hydrochloride, a major carboxylated metabolite of hydroxyzine, is a potent antihistamine belonging to the piperazine class. It selectively inhibits peripheral H1-receptors, thereby reducing histamine-mediated allergic responses and relieving symptoms such as sneezing, itching, and rhinorrhea.

Children 6 to 11 years: 2.5 mg oral solution once daily in the evening. Children 12 years and above: 5 mg oral solution once daily in the evening or as directed by the physician.

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, piperazine derivatives, or any component of the formulation. Contraindicated during lactation, in patients with end-stage renal impairment with creatinine clearance below 10 mL/min, patients undergoing hemodialysis, and children aged 6–11 years with renal impairment.
