Composition
Each tablet contains Cetirizine Hydrochloride 5 mg / 10 mg

Second-generation antihistamine formulation used for effective relief from allergic rhinitis, sneezing, itching, watery eyes and urticaria with reduced sedative effects.
Indications
Indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria.
Pharmacodynamics
Cetirizine hydrochloride is a potent selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonist and a metabolite of hydroxyzine. It inhibits histamine-mediated allergic responses and reduces symptoms such as sneezing, itching and nasal discharge.
Dosage and administration
Children 6–12 years: 5 mg once daily. Adults and children above 12 years: 10 mg once daily with or without food or as directed by the physician.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, piperazine derivatives or any component of the formulation. Contraindicated during lactation.
