Anxit Plus Tablets: Each sustained-release tablet contains Alprazolam 0.5 mg SR + Sertraline 25 mg. Anxit Forte Tablets: Each sustained-release tablet contains Alprazolam 0.5 mg SR + Sertraline 50 mg.

Anxit Plus / Anxit Forte Tablets combine Alprazolam, a benzodiazepine anxiolytic, with Sertraline, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), to provide comprehensive treatment for panic disorder with or without agoraphobia. The combination offers rapid relief of anxiety symptoms through Alprazolam while Sertraline provides long-term control by enhancing serotonergic neurotransmission.

Alprazolam is a 1,4-benzodiazepine that enhances the inhibitory action of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) by binding to the GABA-A receptor complex, producing anxiolytic, sedative, and muscle relaxant effects. Sertraline is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that increases serotonergic activity in the central nervous system by inhibiting the neuronal reuptake of serotonin (5-HT), thereby improving symptoms of panic disorder and anxiety.

The recommended initial dosage is one tablet once daily. The dose may be titrated according to the patient's clinical response and physician's recommendation.

Anxit Plus / Anxit Forte Tablets are contraindicated in patients with: Known hypersensitivity to Alprazolam, Sertraline, other benzodiazepines, or any component of the formulation. Untreated angle-closure glaucoma.
