Betafree Eye Drops combine Brinzolamide and Brimonidine Tartrate to provide dual-action reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. The combination reduces aqueous humour production while enhancing uveoscleral outflow, offering effective IOP control and helping protect the optic nerve from progressive glaucomatous damage.

Betafree Eye Drops combine two complementary anti-glaucoma agents. Brinzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase II inhibitor that inhibits carbonic anhydrase in the ciliary processes of the eye, reducing bicarbonate ion formation and decreasing aqueous humour secretion. Brimonidine Tartrate is a selective alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that lowers intraocular pressure through a dual mechanism by reducing aqueous humour production and increasing uveoscleral outflow. Together, these actions provide effective and sustained reduction of elevated intraocular pressure.

Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by the physician.

Betafree Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Brinzolamide, Brimonidine Tartrate, or any component of the formulation. It is also contraindicated in neonates and infants below 2 years of age.
