Bimaday Eye Drops contain Bimatoprost 0.01%, a prostaglandin analogue indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It effectively lowers IOP by enhancing aqueous humour outflow through both the trabecular meshwork and uveoscleral pathways, helping reduce the risk of glaucoma progression.

Bimatoprost is a synthetic prostaglandin analogue with potent ocular hypotensive activity. It selectively mimics the action of naturally occurring prostamides and lowers intraocular pressure by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour through both the trabecular meshwork and uveoscleral pathways. This dual mechanism effectively reduces elevated intraocular pressure, thereby helping protect the optic nerve from pressure-related damage in patients with glaucoma and ocular hypertension.

Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening, or as directed by the physician.

Bimaday Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Bimatoprost or any component of the formulation.
