Each gram contains White Soft Paraffin 57.5% w/w, White Mineral Oil 42.5% w/w, and Lanolin Alcohol 0.2% w/w Eye Ointment.

Cornigel Eye Ointment is a lubricating ophthalmic ointment formulated with White Soft Paraffin, White Mineral Oil, and Lanolin Alcohol to provide long-lasting ocular surface protection. It forms a protective moisture-retaining barrier that helps reduce tear evaporation, relieve dryness, and protect the cornea in patients with severe dry eye and ocular surface disorders.

Cornigel Eye Ointment is indicated as adjunctive therapy to lubricate and protect the eye in conditions such as exposure keratitis, decreased corneal sensitivity, recurrent corneal erosions, and keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye disease).

Cornigel Eye Ointment contains White Soft Paraffin, White Mineral Oil (Liquid Paraffin), and Lanolin Alcohol, which together form a transparent, lubricating, humectant, protective, and occlusive film over the ocular surface. This protective barrier reduces moisture loss caused by evaporation, enhances tear film stability, and provides prolonged lubrication, helping to protect the cornea and relieve symptoms associated with ocular surface dryness and irritation.

Pull down the lower eyelid of the affected eye and apply approximately one-fourth inch of ointment into the lower conjunctival sac. Repeat at appropriate intervals or as directed by the ophthalmologist.

Cornigel Eye Ointment is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to White Soft Paraffin, White Mineral Oil, Lanolin Alcohol, or any component of the formulation.
