Each film-coated extended-release tablet contains Dapagliflozin Propanediol Monohydrate equivalent to Dapagliflozin 10 mg, Glimepiride IP 1 mg, and Metformin Hydrochloride IP 1000 mg (Extended Release).

Diapride DM Tablets combine three complementary antidiabetic agents in a once-daily extended-release formulation for comprehensive glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor, promotes urinary glucose excretion by reducing renal glucose reabsorption. Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea, stimulates insulin secretion from functioning pancreatic β-cells, while Metformin, a biguanide, decreases hepatic glucose production, improves insulin sensitivity, and reduces intestinal glucose absorption. The triple-drug combination provides effective fasting and postprandial glucose control while supporting long-term diabetes management.

Diapride DM Tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise for improving glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Dapagliflozin selectively inhibits sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2), reducing renal glucose reabsorption, lowering the renal threshold for glucose, and increasing urinary glucose excretion. Diapride DM Tablets are contraindicated in patients with a history of serious hypersensitivity reactions to Dapagliflozin, Glimepiride, Metformin, or any component of the formulation. The medication is also contraindicated in patients with metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis.
