Diapride M1 LV Tablets are indicated for the treatment of adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who remain inadequately controlled with dual antidiabetic therapy despite appropriate diet and exercise.

Glimepiride lowers blood glucose primarily by stimulating insulin secretion from functioning pancreatic β-cells and also exerts extra-pancreatic effects that improve insulin sensitivity. Metformin is an antihyperglycemic agent that decreases hepatic glucose production, reduces intestinal glucose absorption, and enhances peripheral glucose uptake and utilization. Diapride M1 LV Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Glimepiride, Metformin, Voglibose, or any component of the formulation. The medication is also contraindicated in patients with acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis, with or without coma.
