Each tablet contains Glimepiride 2 mg, Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg (Sustained Release), and Voglibose 0.2 mg.

Glimepiride stimulates insulin secretion from functioning pancreatic β-cells, Metformin reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity, while Voglibose delays intestinal carbohydrate digestion and absorption by inhibiting alpha-glucosidase enzymes. Together, these complementary mechanisms help improve fasting as well as postprandial blood glucose control and support long-term glycemic management.

Diapride M2 LV Tablets are indicated for the treatment of adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus who remain inadequately controlled with dual antidiabetic therapy despite appropriate diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications.

Glimepiride lowers blood glucose primarily by stimulating insulin secretion from functioning pancreatic β-cells and also exerts extra-pancreatic effects that enhance insulin sensitivity. Metformin is an antihyperglycemic agent that decreases hepatic glucose production, reduces intestinal glucose absorption, and improves peripheral glucose uptake and utilization. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that delays the digestion and absorption of complex carbohydrates by inhibiting alpha-glucosidase enzymes present in the intestinal brush border, thereby reducing postprandial blood glucose excursions. The combined actions of these three agents provide effective and sustained glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

The recommended dosage is one tablet taken orally twice daily before meals or as directed by the treating physician. Dosage should be individualized according to the patient's clinical response and glycemic control.

Diapride M2 LV Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Glimepiride, Metformin, Voglibose, or any component of the formulation. The product is also contraindicated in patients with acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis with or without coma, as well as in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
