Each tablet contains Glimepiride 1 mg, 2 mg, or 4 mg.

Diapride Tablets are indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise for lowering blood glucose in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus whose hyperglycemia cannot be adequately controlled by lifestyle modification and single-agent therapy alone.

Glimepiride lowers blood glucose primarily by stimulating the release of insulin from functioning pancreatic β-cells. Diapride Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Glimepiride or any component of the formulation. They are also contraindicated in patients with acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis, with or without coma.
