Dilate Eye Drops contain Cyclopentolate Hydrochloride 1%, an anticholinergic agent indicated for producing mydriasis and cycloplegia during ophthalmic examinations and diagnostic procedures. It provides effective pupil dilation and temporary paralysis of accommodation, facilitating detailed ocular assessment.

Cyclopentolate Hydrochloride is an anticholinergic (muscarinic receptor antagonist) that blocks the response of the iris sphincter muscle and the ciliary muscle to cholinergic stimulation. This results in pupillary dilation (mydriasis) and temporary paralysis of accommodation (cycloplegia), enabling comprehensive examination of the eye.

Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s). The dose may be repeated after 5–10 minutes if necessary, as directed by the physician. Complete recovery generally occurs within 24 hours.

Dilate Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with untreated narrow-angle glaucoma, untreated anatomically narrow anterior chamber angles, or known hypersensitivity to Cyclopentolate Hydrochloride or any component of the formulation.
