Dilate Injection is a sterile intracameral ophthalmic solution combining Tropicamide, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride, and Lidocaine Hydrochloride to provide rapid mydriasis and intraocular anaesthesia during cataract surgery. This ready-to-use combination facilitates surgical visualization and patient comfort while reducing the need for multiple intraoperative medications.

Dilate Injection is indicated for obtaining mydriasis and intraocular anaesthesia during cataract surgery.

Dilate Injection is an intracameral ophthalmic solution containing Tropicamide, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride, and Lidocaine Hydrochloride. Tropicamide is an anticholinergic agent that produces mydriasis by blocking muscarinic receptors in the iris sphincter muscle. Phenylephrine Hydrochloride is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist that dilates the pupil by stimulating the iris dilator muscle. Lidocaine Hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic that provides intraocular anaesthesia by reversibly blocking nerve impulse conduction. Together, these agents provide effective pupil dilation and anaesthesia during cataract surgery.

For intracameral use only. The recommended dose is 0.2 ml administered into the anterior chamber during cataract surgery. One ampoule is intended for single-eye use only and must be administered by a qualified ophthalmic surgeon. Additional doses should not be administered.

Dilate Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tropicamide, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride, Lidocaine Hydrochloride, amide-type local anaesthetics, atropine derivatives, or any component of the formulation.
