Divon AQ Injection contains Diclofenac Sodium, a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated for intramuscular administration to provide rapid relief from acute pain and inflammation. It possesses analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties, making it suitable for short-term management of postoperative pain and inflammatory musculoskeletal disorders. The injectable formulation offers rapid onset of action when oral administration is not appropriate.

Divon AQ Injection is indicated for the management of painful conditions in postoperative patients, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis.

Diclofenac Sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes COX-1 and COX-2, thereby suppressing prostaglandin synthesis. Prostaglandins play a key role in the development of inflammation, pain, and fever. Inhibition of these pathways results in effective pain relief, reduction of inflammation, and improvement in joint mobility.

The recommended adult dosage is 75 mg administered by deep intramuscular injection, which may be repeated after 6 hours if necessary. The maximum recommended dose is 150 mg within 24 hours, or as directed by the treating physician.

Divon AQ Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any component of the formulation, and in patients who have experienced asthma, urticaria, or other allergic-type reactions following aspirin or other NSAIDs. It is contraindicated for the treatment of perioperative pain associated with coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, in patients with moderate to severe renal insufficiency during the perioperative period who are at risk of volume depletion, and during the third trimester of pregnancy.
