Each tablet contains Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg and Thiocolchicoside 4 mg.

Divon MR is a combination of the NSAID Diclofenac Sodium and the muscle relaxant Thiocolchicoside, formulated to provide effective relief from pain, inflammation, and associated muscle spasm. The dual-action formulation helps reduce inflammation while relieving painful muscle contractions, making it particularly useful in acute musculoskeletal conditions. It improves mobility, decreases stiffness, and enhances patient comfort when muscle spasm accompanies inflammatory disorders.

Divon MR is indicated for the treatment of acute inflammatory conditions associated with muscle spasm in adults. It is commonly used in painful musculoskeletal disorders, acute back pain, neck pain, sprains, strains, sports injuries, and other inflammatory conditions accompanied by muscle spasm.

Diclofenac Sodium is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Thiocolchicoside is a centrally acting muscle relaxant that selectively binds to GABA-A receptors and activates inhibitory motor pathways, reducing muscle contractions and relieving painful muscle spasm without directly affecting skeletal muscle function.

The recommended dosage for adults is one tablet two to three times daily after meals, or as directed by the treating physician. The medicine should be used for the shortest duration necessary to achieve symptom control.

Divon MR is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac, thiocolchicoside, or any component of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients who have experienced asthma, urticaria, or allergic-type reactions following aspirin or other NSAIDs. It is contraindicated for the management of perioperative pain associated with coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Thiocolchicoside is contraindicated during pregnancy, lactation, and in women of childbearing potential who are not using effective contraception.
