Paediatric analgesic and antipyretic suspension used for effective relief of fever and mild to moderate pain in infants and children. Provides symptomatic relief with good tolerability.

Indications

Indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever, post-vaccination fever and mild to moderate pain in children.

Pharmacodynamics

Paracetamol is a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic agent that primarily inhibits prostaglandin synthesis within the central nervous system, helping reduce fever and pain.

Dosage and administration

For infants aged 2–4 months: 2.5 mL up to 4 times daily with 4–6 hours interval between doses. Children 3 months–6 years: Dose based on body weight and physician recommendation. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any component of the formulation and in severe or active hepatic impairment.
