Paediatric analgesic and antipyretic drops formulated for effective relief from fever and mild to moderate pain in infants and young children. Provides accurate dosing and fast symptomatic relief.
Indications
Indicated for the treatment of fever, post-vaccination fever and mild to moderate pain in infants and children.
Pharmacodynamics
Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic agent that acts primarily by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis within the central nervous system, thereby reducing pain perception and fever.
Dosage and administration
Recommended dose: 10–15 mg/kg body weight every 4–6 hours as required. Maximum daily dose: 60 mg/kg/day in divided doses. Not recommended for infants below 1 month of age or as directed by the physician.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any component of the formulation and in severe or active hepatic impairment.
