Analgesic and antipyretic formulation used for effective relief from fever, headache, body pain and mild to moderate pain conditions. Provides symptomatic relief with good gastrointestinal tolerability.

Indications

Indicated for the treatment of fever and accompanying pain including headache, musculoskeletal pain and body ache.

Pharmacodynamics

Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic agent that primarily inhibits prostaglandin synthesis within the central nervous system, thereby reducing pain and fever.

Dosage and administration

Adults and children above 12 years: 650 mg every 4–6 hours as required up to a maximum of 4 g/day or as directed by the physician.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to paracetamol or formulation components and in severe or active hepatic impairment.
