Dolowin MR is indicated for the relief of pain, inflammation, and muscle spasm associated with conditions such as muscle pain, joint pain, soft tissue injuries, postoperative pain, sprains, strains, cervical and lumbar spondylosis, and other acute musculoskeletal disorders.

Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It acts by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic whose therapeutic effects are believed to result primarily from inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis within the central nervous system. Chlorzoxazone is a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant that acts primarily at the level of the spinal cord and subcortical regions of the brain, where it suppresses multisynaptic reflex pathways involved in maintaining skeletal muscle spasm, thereby relieving muscle stiffness and associated pain.

The recommended dosage is one tablet twice daily, taken as one tablet in the morning and one tablet in the evening, preferably after meals, or as directed by the treating physician.

Dolowin MR is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to aceclofenac, paracetamol, chlorzoxazone, or any component of the formulation. It should not be used in patients with active hepatic impairment or those with a history of active or recurrent peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal hemorrhage, particularly in patients with two or more confirmed episodes of ulceration or bleeding.
