Each tablet contains Aceclofenac 100 mg and Drotaverine 80 mg.

Dolowin Spas is indicated for the treatment of muscular pain associated with muscle spasm in adults. It is useful in the management of acute musculoskeletal pain, soft tissue injuries, painful muscle spasms, and other inflammatory conditions requiring both analgesic and antispasmodic therapy.

Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. It acts primarily by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain and inflammation. Drotaverine is an antispasmodic agent that inhibits phosphodiesterase enzymes in smooth muscle cells, resulting in increased cyclic AMP levels and correction of intracellular calcium imbalance. This leads to direct relaxation of smooth muscle, relieving spasm and the associated pain without producing anticholinergic effects.

The recommended dosage is one tablet twice daily, taken as one tablet in the morning and one tablet in the evening, or as directed by the treating physician.

Dolowin Spas is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to aceclofenac, drotaverine, or any component of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with active or recurrent peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal hemorrhage, particularly those with two or more confirmed episodes of ulceration or bleeding.
