Long-acting, non-sedating second-generation antihistaminic formulation for effective management of allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria. Provides prolonged relief from allergic symptoms with minimal sedative and antimuscarinic effects.

Indicated for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Ebastine is a long-acting, second-generation antihistamine belonging to the piperidine class. It selectively binds to peripheral H1 receptors, thereby reducing histamine-mediated allergic responses. It exhibits antihistaminic and anti-allergic activity and helps prevent histamine-induced bronchoconstriction without significant sedative or antimuscarinic effects.

Adults and children above 12 years: 10 mg once daily. In severe symptoms, the dose may be increased to 20 mg once daily or as directed by the physician.

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ebastine or any component of the formulation.
