Acebrophylline 100 mg + Acetylcysteine 600 mg Tablets

Combination bronchodilator and mucolytic formulation used for the management of chronic respiratory disorders. Helps improve airway patency, reduce bronchial inflammation and decrease mucus viscosity for easier expectoration.

Indicated for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchial asthma in adult patients.

Acebrophylline inhibits intracellular phosphodiesterase, resulting in bronchial muscle relaxation and bronchodilation. It also inhibits inflammatory mediators such as TNF-alpha, leukotrienes, phosphatidylcholine and phospholipase A, thereby reducing airway inflammation. Acetylcysteine acts as a mucolytic agent by reducing the viscosity of bronchial mucus and facilitating mucus clearance.

Usual dose: One tablet twice daily or as directed by the physician.

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to acebrophylline, acetylcysteine or any component of the formulation.
