Bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory formulation used for the management of chronic respiratory disorders. Helps improve airway patency, reduce bronchial inflammation and facilitate easier breathing in obstructive airway diseases.

Indicated for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchial asthma in adult patients.

Acebrophylline inhibits intracellular phosphodiesterase leading to bronchial muscle relaxation and bronchodilation. It also selectively inhibits inflammatory mediators such as phosphatidylcholine, phospholipase A, TNF-alpha and leukotrienes, thereby reducing airway inflammation and obstruction in chronic respiratory diseases.

Recommended adult dose: One capsule twice daily or as directed by the physician.

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to acebrophylline, ambroxol, theophylline or other xanthine derivatives, acute myocardial infarction, hypotension, hemodynamic instability, arrhythmias, renal disease and hepatic disorders.
