Each tablet contains Etoricoxib 60 mg + Thiocolchicoside 4 mg.

Etorica MR is a fixed-dose combination of the selective COX-2 inhibitor Etoricoxib and the muscle relaxant Thiocolchicoside, formulated to provide effective relief from pain, inflammation, and painful muscle spasm. The combination offers targeted anti-inflammatory action with muscle relaxation, helping improve mobility and reduce discomfort in acute musculoskeletal conditions while minimizing gastrointestinal effects associated with non-selective NSAIDs.

Etorica MR is indicated for the acute treatment of inflammatory musculoskeletal disorders associated with painful muscle spasm in adults. It is commonly prescribed for acute back pain, cervical pain, sprains, strains, and other painful musculoskeletal conditions requiring both anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant therapy.

Etoricoxib is a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor that reduces the formation of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid, thereby providing potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects while sparing COX-1 activity. Thiocolchicoside is a centrally acting muscle relaxant that selectively binds to GABA-A and glycine receptors, activating inhibitory motor pathways to relieve skeletal muscle spasm and improve muscle relaxation without significantly affecting voluntary muscle strength.

The recommended dosage is one tablet orally once daily, or as directed by the treating physician.

Etorica MR is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Etoricoxib, Thiocolchicoside, or any component of the formulation, as well as in patients with active peptic ulcer disease or active gastrointestinal bleeding.
