Extralube Eye Drops are an advanced tear substitute formulated with Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Erythritol, and L-Carnitine to provide effective lubrication and long-lasting hydration for dry eyes. The formulation stabilizes the tear film, protects the ocular surface, and helps relieve dryness, burning, irritation, and discomfort associated with Dry Eye Disease.

Extralube Eye Drops are indicated for the treatment of dry eyes.

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is a lubricating polymer that forms a protective, moisture-retaining layer over the ocular surface, providing immediate relief from dryness and irritation while improving tear film stability. Glycerin acts as a humectant to retain moisture, whereas Erythritol and L-Carnitine function as osmoprotectants that help protect ocular surface cells from hyperosmotic stress associated with Dry Eye Disease. Together, these ingredients provide prolonged ocular lubrication and support ocular surface health.

Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) 2–4 times daily as needed, or as directed by the ophthalmologist.

Extralube Eye Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Erythritol, L-Carnitine, or any component of the formulation.
