Each sustained-release capsule contains Rabeprazole Sodium 20 mg + Domperidone 30 mg SR.

Helirab D Capsules combine Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, with Domperidone, a prokinetic and anti-emetic agent, to provide effective relief from Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). The dual-action formulation suppresses gastric acid secretion while improving gastric motility, helping to relieve reflux symptoms in patients who do not respond adequately to rabeprazole alone.

Helirab D Capsules are indicated for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) in patients who do not respond adequately to rabeprazole alone.

Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells. Domperidone is a dopamine receptor antagonist with prokinetic and anti-emetic properties that enhances gastric emptying, improves gastrointestinal motility, and helps reduce nausea and reflux symptoms.

The recommended dosage is one capsule once daily before food for 4–8 weeks, or as directed by the physician.

Helirab D Capsules are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Rabeprazole, Domperidone, substituted benzimidazoles, or any component of the formulation. Domperidone is also contraindicated in patients with moderate or severe hepatic impairment, known QT interval prolongation, significant electrolyte disturbances, or underlying cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure.
