Helirab Injection contains Rabeprazole Sodium, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that provides rapid suppression of gastric acid secretion. It is indicated as an alternative to oral therapy for patients unable to take oral proton pump inhibitors, offering effective management of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders such as gastritis, duodenal ulcers, and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).

Helirab Injection is indicated for the treatment of: Gastritis Duodenal ulcer Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) as an alternative to oral proton pump inhibitor therapy in patients who are unable to take oral medication.

Rabeprazole belongs to the class of substituted benzimidazole proton pump inhibitors. It suppresses gastric acid secretion by specifically inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, resulting in potent and prolonged inhibition of gastric acid production.

The recommended dosage is 20 mg (one vial) administered intravenously once daily, or as directed by the physician.

Helirab Injection is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Rabeprazole, substituted benzimidazoles, or any component of the formulation.
