Helirab Tablets contain Rabeprazole Sodium, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that provides effective and long-lasting suppression of gastric acid secretion. It is indicated for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), duodenal ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, promoting ulcer healing and long-term acid control.

Rabeprazole belongs to the class of substituted benzimidazole proton pump inhibitors. It suppresses gastric acid secretion by specifically inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, resulting in potent and sustained inhibition of gastric acid production.

The recommended dosage is one enteric-coated tablet once daily before food, or as directed by the physician.

Helirab Tablets are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Rabeprazole, substituted benzimidazoles, or any component of the formulation.
