LG HYAL 2000 Eye Injection is indicated for use during anterior chamber intraocular surgery to maintain the anterior chamber and protect ocular tissues.

Sodium Hyaluronate is a naturally occurring polysaccharide with excellent viscoelastic and lubricating properties. It forms a highly viscous, transparent solution that closely resembles the physical characteristics of the aqueous humour. During ophthalmic surgery, it maintains anterior chamber depth, protects the corneal endothelium from mechanical trauma, separates ocular tissues, and facilitates delicate intraocular surgical procedures.

LG HYAL 2000 Eye Injection should be administered intraocularly using an appropriate ophthalmic cannula during anterior segment surgery. The quantity required depends on the surgical procedure and should be determined by the operating ophthalmic surgeon.

LG HYAL 2000 Eye Injection is contraindicated in aphakic patients, patients with diabetes where contraindicated by the surgeon, active ocular infections, and in individuals with known hypersensitivity to Sodium Hyaluronate or any component of the formulation. Care should be taken not to overfill the anterior or posterior segment of the eye with the viscoelastic solution.
